The parc des Topiaires is the largest topiary garden in the world, it is located on the bank of the River Ourthe and open to the public. It hosts several events and exhibitions during the year. It’s got great walking trails, a warren of cobbled streets lined with historic buildings, former fortifications, a wide array of hotels, restaurants and cafes and a Topiary Park that is definitely essential sightseeing! Come and discover a unique collection of sculpted box trees unique in Europe in the widest largest garden that is open to the public ! Topiary art consists in sculpting trees and bushes into an ornamental shape. This unique garden stretches out over more than 10.000 square meters and boasts over 250 figures. Some of the plants are more than 120 years old and it took 20 years to obtain their current shape. And as cherry on the cake: visitors can enjoy their picnic on the most beautiful terrace in Durbuy.
