Combes walking trail

Description

A hike over hill and dale through a stunning forest, alternating between coniferous and deciduous trees. The forest is teeming with wildlife, so you may well spot some of its inhabitants. Upon reaching the summit, at an altitude of around 500 metres, you’ll find a barbecue shelter on your right. After the crossroads, enjoy a panoramic view of the village and the surrounding area. On the descent, on your right, at a place called ‘Pré Lacroix’, stands the lodge where Perre Napoléon Bonaparte, the emperor’s nephew, stayed around 1870. Along the road, you’ll see free-range grassland pigs.
