Walking route discovering the surroundings of a typical village of Marche-en-Famenne. Discover beautiful landscapes as well as a charming historic and built heritage.

Gui - Signposted walk 14 - Aye (Marche-en-Famenne)
To discover on the walk:* the rich built heritage of the village of Aye: the castle farm, which was once protected by a moat, the Tavys farm dating from the late 18th century, the neo-classical manor house surrounded by outbuildings with traditional 17th-century architecture, etc. (privately owned) ;* the Gerny plateau, a fertile agricultural plain offering magnificent landscapes that change with the 4 seasons, as well as breathtaking panoramic views of the Famenne plains and the foothills of the Ardennes, dense, mysterious forests and the radio astronomy station with its huge unusual antennae.

Circuit de Malagne
From Malagne, the Rochefort Archaeopark we will climb towards the fertile Gerny plateau, then skirting the Saint-Remy Abbey, before discovering the typical villages of the Famenne. Then we will ride through woodlands and meadows, passing next to the Briquemont chapel (definitely worth a visit!) after which we will take a trail through the woods and return to Rochefort.

Cycling route around Rochefort
Rochefort, well-known for its comedy festival and the famous Trappist beers, welcomes you for a cycling tour through stunning nature dotted with a wealth of heritage! Starting from the town centre, make your way gradually through the villages of Eprave, Lessive, Auffe, Belvaux, and Han-sur-Lesse, where the rural charm will captivate you. Keep your eyes open! Numerous sights will enchant your journey, along with splendid landscapes.
